I have been the librarian at King Middle School since 2007. Prior to that I taught Humanities (Social Studies and English) at Oceana High School in Pacifica, California, and was the librarian at Jefferson High School in Daly City, California. I have a Bachelor's degree (BA) in History from the University of California, San Diego; I obtained my teaching credential at San Francisco State University; I earned my Master's degree (MLIS) in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. I am an active member of the American Library Association, the American Association of School Librarians, and the California School Library Association.
